The 10^th Kathmandu International Mountain Film Festival (KIMFF) is taking place in the capital from 7 – 11 December 2012.

KIMFF has been screening exciting films about mountain people, religion, extreme sports, adventure, environment, wildlife, cultures and cultural practices, and societies from various corners of the world to celebrate the complexity of activities and life in the mountains.

The festival is organized with the principle that human experiences in the world’s hilltops, is worth documenting and sharing. Over the years, the festival has attracted not only filmmakers, film enthusiasts, and critics, but also scholars, journalists, activists, and mountaineers.
